Project Challenge
Hansel from Basel hired Niche Tank to re-design their website and overhaul their e-commerce. With a growing domestic and international customer base, Hansel from Basel had outgrown their previous website which was hard to update, not mobile friendly, did not have a shopping cart and was at times difficult to navigate.
Solution
While keeping true to the company's brand, we redesigned Hansel from Basel's website to be more user friendly and more aesthetically pleasing. We executed a new e-commerce engine with all the modern shopping features necessary to showcase their beautiful products. The new store is sleek, friendly and shopping is easy breezy. We even created a currency converter tool to assist and promote international shopping.
The professionalism of the new online store rivals those of large fashion retailers, and mazimizes the number of shoppers that turn into customers. The rate of visitors that subscribe to the company newsletter and like their Facebook page have both increased since the new website, which will help their marketing & sales efforts in the long run.
In addition to the online store we also added a new online gallery of images and videos, both of which are updatable via the custom content management system. The stockist page which lists online & offline retail outlets that carry Hansel from Basel products is also updatable via the content management system.
